Five members and their chil dren, including Mrs. Crump, at tended the recent picnic: Mrs. Gladys Fullerton of Victorsville, Calif.; Mrs. Alena Erskine; Mrs. Aletha Olson; Mrs. Myrtle New land, and Mrs. Rose Wolfe of Med ford. The remaining members are in California, with the exception of two, who are dead. The picnic complimented ‘ Mrs Fullerton, who 1« visiting in Medford, and Mrs. Erskine, who is leaving this week for Oakland. The GTC. hold« a party at Christmas and during the summer, in addition to a social event at the departure or arrival of mem ber« at Medford. The club edits an annual recording various activi ties and accomplishments, includ ing marriages and births, and members spend a day assembling the material contributed. Both are doing nicely, say at tendants. • Mrs. Sargent, who was admit ted to the local sanitarium July 28, has been improving steadily Mrs. Wickman, who underwent a minor operation at the same place, also Is recovering, while Alan Freeman, young son of Mr. and Mrs. Rue Freeman, underwent a tonsil operation by Dr. W. W. Howard in Medford Wednesday, and is recovering at the sanitar ium. Others admitted to the Jack sonville santarium during July in cluded Harry Forest, Eli Chase, C. W. Ruscho and Carrie Sargent, ail reported to be doing well.
